The above portrait of well-regarded Manistee attorney and philanthropist, Thomas Jefferson Ramsdell, was painted by his son, Fredrick W. Ramsdell in 1908. Fred, a famous artist, also painted the artwork located inside The Ramsdell Building as well as much of the artwork seen on the walls of the Ramsdell Theatre lobby and the inside dome of the theatre.
