32/40 Paint counter
Besides being a pharmacy and bookstore, you could also find a variety of things to purchase at the Lyman Building during its decades of operation whether it be pharmaceutical items, soap, stationary, pencils, cigars, or paint.
This counter and subsequent drawers were once used to mix paint at the Lyman Company. The drawers once held pigments that when mixed with solvents forms the different colors of paint.
Look at the drawers closely and you can still read the names of the various pigments that were available at the Lyman Company.
