20/40 Medacco portrait

This painting was painted in the 1930s and shows lifelong Manistee County resident, Moses Medacco posing as a Native American chieftain. The painting hung in the lobby of the Hotel Chippewa, formerly located at the southwest corner of Pine and Water Streets.
