36/40 ISABELLA SANDS

One of the many vessels constructed by lumberman, Louis Sands the ISABELLA SANDS was launched on August 15, 1874. The schooner was roughly 134 feet long and would be able to carry up to 275,000 board feet of lumber. This model of the ISABELLA SANDS was built by local woodworkman, Ken Jilbert who also constructed several of the boat models on display at the museum.
