05/40 Eastlake mailboxes

For several decades these mailboxes were located inside the post office in the Village of Eastlake. It was there that they held the mail for village residents until new mailboxes took their place in the 1970s. One of the unique aspects of the mailboxes is that the names of many longtime Eastlake residents are still written underneath their number located on the opposite side of the mailboxes.
